Meet Jane

I’ve been working since 2003 in the global health and development sector. As a freelancer, I wrote, edited, and strategized with more than 30 clients, ranging from small foundations to large development organizations. Most recently, I spent three years as Senior Director of Technical Writing in the Global Health Division of Chemonics International, writing, editing, and mentoring others.

After the US president annihilated USAID in January 2025, I went for a 4,200-km bike ride around Europe and relocated to the Netherlands. I'm now based in Amsterdam and available for proposal writing, editing, and strategy — with a particular focus on helping organizations that built their business around USAID find their footing with the Global Fund, the EU, and other donors. Beyond proposals, I write and edit reports, case studies, papers, and stories. And I'm an experienced mentor and coach—ready to help you improve your English skills and write text that sings.
